Sad news: 2024 PORPA Sprints on the Priest River Cancelled
PORPA Sprints on the Priest River is cancelled for 2024. We are sad to announce that because of unforeseen delays in the construction activities at the Priest River Recreation Area (Mudhole) this summer, PORPA needs to cancel our 3 August 2024 event.
PORPA considered other venues, but decided that there is no place as safe to hold water race events for kids than the Priest River. Without the ability to provide an extremely safe event for the little ones, we decided to cancel
this year's non-motorized fun races. It is unfortunate, but safety needs to be the highest priority.
We look forward to the 2025 PORPA Sprints on the Priest River!
